Our Lewes branch is now up and running and is incorporated within Chandlers Builders Merchants. This enables contractors to purchase other construction goods along with their electrical supplies.
NORTH LONDON ELECTRICAL
We have now incorporated NLE in Hatch End into the Kew Group and can therefore serve a larger area of London with next day deliveries, along with our Acton branch.
OUR IRISH ADDITION
Our most recent acquisition is Eds and Eds in Belfast. They have been in business for over 100 years and we are happy to incorporate them into the Kew Group.

Take the fuss out of lighting design!
We are pleased to announce we can offer a full lighting design service for contractors. We aim to make it far easier for contractors to obtain lighting design schemes and advice, and have taken on our very own lighting specification engineer in the shape of Doug Taylor ex Thorn Lighting.

Crawley branch is now open!
Our latest branch is open for business in Fleming way on Manor Royal, opposite BOC Gases. The branch will stock a vast range of products from all the popular manufacturers including Philips, MK, KewTech test equipment, and Merlin Gerin to name a few. The branch can also source many more products next day through our daily link van service.

October 2006:
Our latest branch in Crawley is due to open on Monday 30th of October. The branch is just off Fleming way on Manor Royal, opposite BOC Gases. Go in and have a look if you are passing!. The branch will be stocking many of the more popular manufacturers including Mita, Philips, MK, Thorn, Timegaurd and Mennekes to name but a few.
Rustington will be holding a launch day to celebrate their opening together with Kew's ten year anniversary on 4th October. The event will be open to all customers and selected suppliers, and there will be prizes and food and drink on offer- Come along!
September 2006:
Contributing to Kew's excellent growth this year is our ability to provide all the leading products quickly throughout our branch network. This has swelled our number of stock lines to a record 108,000; allowing us to satisfy 99% of next day requirements our customers have through our Inter Branch system.
 August 2006: Rustington has Moved!
Rustington branch has now completed its move to new purpose built premises. The unit boasts 4000 sq ft of space providing a much larger counter, warehouse and sales office. Still based on Artex Avenue; the branch aims to expand its product range and keep more of the everyday items our customers need. Pop in and have a look around, Iris and her team will be happy to show you round!
June 2006: Lamp Guide
Look out for our new Lamp Guide due out in June. It is a simple and easy to use guide for our customers to see which lamps they need. This is the first in a line of customer offers we will be running in future. If you would like a copy you can contact your nearest branch by phone or e-mail and a copy will be sent to you directly.
May 2006: Rustington is moving
Iris and her team are moving to larger premises nearby this summer. An old Body Shop unit will become their new home with more square footage than before and a better layout. We hope to keep more stock and some new lines; there will be a launch day later this summer and all customers are welcome! The new branch is still on Artex Avenue in Rustington so you should have no trouble finding it!
April 2006: Crawley action
Kew is getting in on the Crawley action by opening a new branch there. Chris Major (formerly Edmundson’s) will be managing the branch along with fellow Kew convert Stuart Carter. They are currently crammed into the spare office at Brighton and making a nuisance of themselves!. Any contractors working in the area can call Chris on 01273 420452 for enquiries or if you know him and you would like to deal with us.
March 2006: Anniversary open days
Kew celebrates its Tenth year of trading in 2006; and to celebrate has been holding trade open days at branches. Loyal customers have been treated to a day of food, drink and free gifts; along with a prize draw in the evening. Chris Brock; a Chichester customer was the happy winner of a 15” LCD TV. The first three open days have gone very well with good attendance and many happy customers and suppliers. We are also holding golf and cricket days throughout the summer as part of the celebrations, if you are lucky enough to be invited!
Feburary 2006: Catalogue Update
Members of the Fegime buying group are creating a catalogue that will be available to us later this summer. It will be personalised for Kew and a product guide that will act as a great reference guide for our customers. It will contain up-to-the minute product information for specifiers and contractors to better plan and price their electrical installations.
