INTERNAL SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – MAIDSTONE
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the industry in a sales role to be able to deal effectively with customers face to face/over the telephone. This is an office based position and the main focus of the role is to generate new business as well as improve existing customer spend.
·To assess the spend of existing customers and implement actions to increase both sales and profit.
·To identify both ‘declining’ and ‘lost’ customers and take action to regain sales and profit from these accounts
·To identify and develop new accounts.
·To ensure the branch focuses on profitable customer groups (eg schools or maintenance contractors).
·Assisting customers both on the telephone and face to face with orders, quotations, product information and pricing queries.
·Contact with suppliers to negotiate special terms for large one off orders or quotes.
·Assist in the preparation and count process for any company stock take.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the industry to be able to deal effectively with customers on the trade counter and over the telephone. If you have drive, enthusiasm and commitment, we would like to hear from you.
The hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday–Friday. We offer a competitive salary with bonus, pension scheme, 23 days holiday plus public holidays.
